How to Cite the Caribbean Podcast Directory for Academic and Professional Research

The Caribbean Podcast Directory (CPD) is an original curated database of Caribbean and Caribbean diaspora podcasts, created and maintained by Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown / Breadfruit Media. It is not a generic public resource or web directory. Its structure, organization, categorization, and curation criteria represent original intellectual work.
What belongs to Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown is the directory itself: its architecture, organization, curation standards, and the database as a whole. The individual podcasts listed within the directory are independent works owned by their respective creators.
The Caribbean Podcast Directory makes no claim over those shows and cannot grant permission to cite or use them. To cite an individual podcast listed in the directory, contact that show directly.
The following require permission before proceeding:
- Using the Caribbean Podcast Directory as a dataset or primary data source for research, analyzing the directory’s structure or curation criteria as a subject of study, reproducing or screenshotting directory content in a published or submitted paper, and recruiting podcast creators listed in the directory as research participants through the directory.
